Amir Agha

Board Certified Rheumatologist

Dr. Agha was born in Arlington, TX but moved to San Diego while he was in secondary school. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego and then pursued his medical degree from St. George’s  University where he graduated Cum Laude. While in medical school, Dr. Agha was invited into Iota Epsilon Alpha, an honor’s organization that is comprised of medical students that maintain the highest GPA and excellence in work.

Following graduation, Dr. Agha  completed his residency and fellowship at the University of South Florida in Internal medicine and Rheumatology, respectively. Dr. Agha has also spent time as a practicing internist and is proficient in both fields. Following his fellowship gradation, Dr. Agha having married a local, decided to call “the world’s most beautiful beaches” home.

Throughout his career, Dr. Agha has always participated in clinical and bench research because he believes the highest quality of care comes from keeping current on the newest trends and therapy. In the past, he has had his studies published in the Journal of Arthritis and Rheumatism, one of the most prestigious journals in this field. Dr. Agha plans on continuing this here in Bay County, where he hopes to conduct his own clinical trials and contribute to the ever-changing field of rheumatology and immunology.
