About Us

April Lowe is a local, born in Panama City, Florida. She attended South University-Savannah for her undergraduate degree in Bachelor’s Science of Nursing. She later attended Herzing University and continued on to obtain her Master’s in Science of Nursing degree in their Family Nurse Practitioner program. She she has served in healthcare for over 14 years, with experience in ER, Trauma, and Rheumatology. April has proudly been taking care of patient’s nearly 8 years at Bay Arthritis Institute, initially as an infusion RN and now as Nurse Practitioner. She has been an active member of the American Nurse Society, Florida Nurse Society, Rheumatology Nurse Society, and Infusion Nurse Society. April holds an autonomous APRN license in Florida and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a particular interest in preventive/holistic care and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
