Andre Smith, COO (Chief Operating Officer)

I am Andre Smith, COO of Bay Arthritis Institute. I have spent most of my life in Bay County. Our patients are often friends, neighbors, teachers, and classmates.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. I also have more than 13 years of leadership in healthcare. For example, I have managed rheumatology specialty clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and multispecialty infusion centers.

I joined Bay Arthritis Institute as Chief Operations Officer in February 2024. My skills include healthcare operations and medical billing and coding. I also work on revenue cycle management and biologic coordination. Customer service and clinical quality are other focus areas.

I am passionate about speaking up for patients. Above all, I want to improve their healthcare experience. Behind the scenes, I also help our team work well. My goal is simple. Every patient should get compassionate, high-quality care and great service.
