Jordan Wester, APRN, Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

I am a nurse practitioner at Bay Arthritis Institute. In fact, I have lived in the panhandle my whole life. Marianna is where I grew up. In 2009, I moved to Panama City to attend nursing school at Gulf Coast State College.

I graduated from nursing school at the age of 21. Then I worked as an ER nurse for 8 years, both locally and all over the country as a travel nurse. After that, I became a nurse practitioner. I started nurse practitioner school in 2016. Then, in December 2018, I completed a Master of Nursing at Herzing University. Today, I am board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

First, I worked in primary care from 2018 to 2019. In January 2020, I started at Bay Arthritis.

I enjoy teaching my patients about their autoimmune disease. That way, they can understand it. You can read about lupus and rheumatoid arthritis on our site. My goal is to help patients live with less pain and have more good days than bad days.
