This story first ran on WMBB.
Dealing with arthritis is something anyone may face. Dr. Amir Agha, then a rheumatologist with Bay Medical Sacred Heart, told WMBB that anyone can get arthritis. Even so, it is most common in older people. It is also common in people who use their hands for work, like carpenters and mechanics.
Dr. Agha says many people with arthritis wait too long to get care. He says it’s important to get treatment sooner rather than later. Early care helps prevent permanent joint damage.
If you have joint pain that won’t go away, meet Dr. Agha and our team.
