Physician assistant Jensen Clifford joins Bay Arthritis Institute. Meet the caring, certified PA-C who just joined our Panama City team.

PANAMA CITY, FL — September 10, 2026 — Certified physician assistant Jensen Clifford (PA-C) joins Bay Arthritis Institute (BAI). We are pleased to welcome him to our growing clinical team.
Jensen is from Utah. He trained as a physician assistant at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He and his wife chose Mobile partly because they wanted to try life in the South and live closer to the coast.
After his clinical rotations, Jensen looked for jobs across the Florida Panhandle. Panama City and Bay Arthritis Institute quickly stood out to him.
“Panama City really stood out to us,” Jensen said. “I had heard great things about the area, and when I started looking into Bay Arthritis Institute, I noticed how much patients raved about the practice. That really caught my attention.”
Jensen chose rheumatology because the right diagnosis and treatment can change a patient’s daily life.
“Rheumatology may not be the biggest field of medicine, but the difference you can make in someone’s life can be tremendous,” he said. “I love helping patients improve their quality of life and get back to doing the things they enjoy.”
Rheumatic and autoimmune conditions can affect a patient’s comfort, movement and independence. Jensen looks forward to helping patients understand their conditions. He wants to work with them to make real gains in their health.
Family members and friends with serious health problems also shaped Jensen’s choice. Through them, he saw how much a physician assistant can help a patient. Their stories inspired him to go into medicine and give others that same support.
Jensen believes caring starts with listening. He wants every patient to feel at ease sharing their concerns. He also wants them to know their needs are taken seriously.
“I want my patients to feel heard and know that I genuinely care about them,” Jensen said. “If I can help improve their quality of life, that’s what makes this job meaningful to me.”
His patient-first approach fits our promise of personal, complete rheumatology care.
Jensen is excited to work with our skilled clinical team. He looks forward to caring for patients in Panama City and nearby towns.
“I’ve been really impressed with the staff and the patient population,” he said. “I’m excited to be part of the team and to help our patients feel better and enjoy the activities they love.”
Outside of work, Jensen enjoys fishing, watching sports, playing board games and, in his own words, eating.
He is the youngest of eight children and has 23 nieces and nephews. Jensen and his wife also share their home with two Labradoodles.
We are excited to welcome Jensen Clifford, Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). His kindness, hard work and interest in rheumatology will help us improve the lives of patients across Panama City, Panama City Beach, Bay County and Northwest Florida. Read Jensen Clifford’s full bio.
